The product is an AI concierge for automating communication between hosts and guests on home rental platforms like Airbnb – aparta.
From the second month we managed to reach stable 12 targeted calls per month (2 Linkedin + 10 mailboxes). The secret of success: custom parser, conferences, personalization and non-standard approach to sequences.
1️⃣ Gathering the base
Aparta targets companies with 200 or more properties under management. So before launching AI outreach, we needed to figure out how to track this parameter.
Two ways:
Parsing platforms. Sally's team made an Airbnb parser to gather host data (listings, rating, response rate, reviews). We match hosts with their companies to reach ICPs (COO, CEO, Head of Revenue). This screens out hosts with <200 objects and ensures constant base volume. Airbnb is immense!
Conferences. We identify events → Aparta attends → get networking app access → parse attendee data. This allows arranging meetings pre-, during, and post-event. You can also outreach participants' colleagues: "Hi {{first_name}}, I was at VRMA with {{colleague_name}}, but I can't reach {{gender}}..."
2️⃣ Different approach for each channel
LinkedIn brings 60% of leads, email 40%. Tested approaches showed:
Email: Long emails explaining the product work best (Open Rate - 65%, Reply Rate - 20%). They reduce clarifying back-and-forth.
LinkedIn: Longer communication works. Connect, personalize, and introduce the product by the third message. Invite acceptance rate: 30-50%, ~3 leads/week become meetings.
